Product Packaging- Incense Holder
This was a project during my internship at Talin Modular Office Furniture Pvt. Ltd.
This project focused on creating a complete product packaging solution for an incense holder, involving both packaging net design and graphic design. I designed the net layout in AutoCAD to ensure accurate measurements and a perfect fit, while the visual design combined hand-drawn illustrations created on my iPad (using Procreate) with digital refinement in Adobe Illustrator. The client particularly liked my clean line art style, which became a defining element of the final design.
The project placed strong emphasis on the graphic design, particularly on how information and visuals interacted across the surfaces. It also allowed me to explore colour variations and refine the overall visual impact.
Through this project, I gained valuable experience in packaging design and further strengthened my proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. It also allowed me to refine my ability to balance text and visuals effectively, ensuring the final design remained clear, engaging, and visually cohesive.
Final Designs
Process
The process started with net design, where I developed scaled and full-size prototypes to refine and finalise the most effective structure.
NET DESIGN
This was the first iteration. We later developed a second version, as seen in the final design, which offered greater support and structural integrity. (No visual record available for that stage.)
Next, the materials were selected. We experimented with laser cutting different thicknesses of cardboard to test their bending strength. We also tried plantable, sustainable paper (not pictured).

Here are the colour iterations— some playful experiments, others designed to suit different moods, occasions, and future needs.
