Aquora is a line of office furniture for breakout rooms and collaborative spaces, developed as my graduation project in collaboration with Talin Modular Office Furniture Systems Pvt. Ltd.

The collection is guided by the theme of water, symbolising connection, adaptability and balance. Its design language is fluid, modular and calming, encouraging collaboration, creativity and relaxation in the modern workspace.

Rooted in principles of sustainability, user well-being, and a pursuit of circularity within manufacturing at Talin, Aquora merges functional innovation with a cohesive aesthetic inspired by the natural flow of water.

The Aquora collection consists of four products:

  • Mizu – a bookshelf partition

  • Drovia – a low-height coffee table

  • Hydris – a low-height lounge chair

  • Tydra – a modular bench system

Revised Brief

The project aims to conceptualise and design an office furniture line comprising 4–5 pieces, tailored for breakout rooms and collaborative spaces. The line follows a unifying theme, fostering teamwork, creativity, and relaxation while responding to the evolving needs of modern work environments.

The design direction is shaped by research insights, ensuring relevance to market demands, user needs, and workplace practices. A strong emphasis is placed on sustainability and circularity, reflecting Talin’s priorities, and thereby guiding material selection and manufacturing decisions. Alongside this, considerations of modularity, cost-effectiveness (including transportation, on-site assembly, and manufacturing processes), aesthetics, and ergonomics contribute to defining a practical yet forward-looking furniture line.
